Our Daily Gospel Reflection email included a special series for Lent—a different work of art for every day of Lent through Easter with a brief narrated audio meditation on each image. We began each week's art meditations with an image from Notre Dame's campus, and then moved into classical works, all illustrating the scene from the upcoming Sunday Gospel. The goal was to prepare our readers to hear the Gospel proclaimed at Sunday Mass with a treasury of images stocked in their minds to make the scenes come alive.
