Friday of the Fourth Week of Lent – Stations of the Cross from the Snite Museum of Art
In this installment of the Stations of the Cross, FaithND is honored to present an event hosted by the Snite Museum of Art. In this virtual gathering, members of the Notre Dame community offered reflections on each station, accompanied by art from the museum collections. This prayer experience featured preparatory drawings for “Stations of the Cross” by George Tooker (1920-2011), an American artist. The Museum holds a complete collection of Tooker’s drawings for the decoration of his parish church in Windsor, Vermont. Fr. Kevin Grove, C.S.C. offers the opening and closing prayers.
