Prayer of Thanksgiving

God of hosts and togetherness, we pause and offer our gratitude today. We sail on a sea of blessings – help us to cast wide our nets so that we may better see and name the abundant treasures in our lives.
In our nets, we recognize the blessings of loved ones, health, and safety. We might also find in them experiences that did not necessarily feel like blessings at the time, but which have been revealed as such over time. Like the eternally patient sea, your grace wears down the rough edges of our lives to reveal the soft and sacred within.
Thank you for another day to love the You within us and within others. May we carry this love with us always. Amen.
