Extravagant Love

As we move through Holy Week, we read about Mary of Bethany anointing Jesus’ feet with costly oil, an act of extravagant devotion. Like the Magi at the cradle, she offered a gift of profound love—one that exceeded what others deemed reasonable. This Lenten season, and especially this week, invites us to reflect: How are we called to give more of ourselves? How can we, like Mary and the Magi, offer a love so deep that we move beyond what seems sensible in the world’s eyes into true adoration of our Savior?
