Prayer in Gratitude for the Eucharist
Dear God,
We reflect upon the Eucharistic. Bread and wine become your body and blood. We, too, are taken, blessed, broken, and shared.
You took us, God, and chose us to be your people—to be an example and to follow Jesus. You blessed us, God, gifted us with loving families, talents, and treasures beyond imagination.
We are broken, God, by days when it is too difficult to go on, but we share in your kingdom, in your glory. We know that you are with us in all that we do.
Thank you for being with us. Thank you for choosing us, blessing us, helping us when we are broken, allowing us to share in your banquet. Amen.
