The 40 days of Lent are a time for us to enter the wilderness with Jesus to focus our desires and sharpen our faithfulness. In this image from William Hole, the Spirit is “driving Jesus out into the desert.” The way is rocky and the path forward is hidden. What does Jesus carry with him on this journey? What will sustain us as we walk with him over the next 40 days? Where is the Spirit driving us?
