Summer Poetry

In the summer of 2017, FaithND featured faithful poetry. Poems can bring to life concrete, tangible images in our minds—images that illuminate invisible realities such as grace, mercy, gratitude, faith, and hope. These poems help us touch the transcendent.

A rock-face Christ sprawls on a skew cross…
I touch gouged eyes that weep candle wax,
caress his ocher heart, pray to have a child…
